The Tourist Organization of the City of Subotica will showcase its destination offer at one of the region’s most prominent international tourism fairs – ALPE–ADRIA, taking place for the 36th time in Ljubljana from February 4th to 7th, 2026. Attracting around 20,000 visitors, this renowned event in Slovenia is dedicated to active, cultural, gastronomic, and sustainable tourism.
As part of the joint presentation organized by the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina, Subotica will highlight the rich and diverse heritage of the city and Lake Palić—spanning cultural landmarks, vibrant events, authentic local gastronomy, active leisure options, and modern travel trends.
“The ALPE–ADRIA Fair is an exceptional opportunity to present Subotica and Palić to an international audience as an authentic and sustainable destination. We are placing a special emphasis on outdoor activities and nature getaways. This year, we are also highlighting the potential of camping tourism at Palić, an increasingly popular choice among today’s travelers. We strongly believe that offerings like these will further solidify our position on the region’s tourism map,” stated Božidarka Golubović, Director of the Tourist Organization of the City of Subotica, ahead of the event.
