The Tourist Organization of the City of Subotica is showcasing its offer at the prestigious FITUR International Tourism Fair in Madrid, held from January 22 to 26, 2025.
In cooperation with the Tourist Organization of Serbia, Subotica is presenting the rich tourism potential of the city and Lake Palić, with a special focus on:
Gastronomy and authentic “wines from the sand” (vina sa peska)
Active tourism and natural beauty
Unique Art Nouveau architecture
Rural tourism and the warm hospitality of local traditional farmsteads (salaši) and taverns (čarde)
FITUR, which welcomes over 200,000 visitors annually, is one of the world’s largest and most significant tourism events, making it an ideal platform for promoting our destination.
Subotica is featured at the joint national stand alongside the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina, Air Serbia, as well as leading Serbian hotel chains and tour operators.
On the opening day of the fair, our stand was honored by a visit from H.E. Irena Šarac, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Spain, together with her delegation.
