In 2026, the Interetno Festival will be organized for the twenty-fifth time. Over its 25 years of existence, this event has grown into one of the largest cultural events in the region, promoting multi- and interculturalism as well as interregional cooperation. The motto of the Interetno Festival is “Meeting of Diverse Cultures,” and through a wide variety of programs, extraordinary dancers and musicians from Serbia and around the world, invited through the international organization CIOFF, will perform. At the handicrafts fair, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the most valuable artisans and craftspeople from Serbia and the region.

At the end of 2022, the Interetno Festival received the prestigious qualification of “CIOFF International Festival,” in accordance with the regulations of this organization (International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts). In Serbia, alongside the Interetno Festival, only the Youth Festival in Niš holds this title. Since 2019, the Interetno Festival has been organized under the patronage of UNESCO.
