The “Fantasy & Horror Film Festival – Chrysanthemum” was first organized in 2013. In 2022, the “Chrysanthemum” festival managed to reshape itself from a small horror film festival (which gathered a very niche audience) into a broader program that successfully brought together school children, youth, artists, and retirees all in one place. The festival was mostly held at the end of October; however, since 2023, the timing moved closer to mid-October, date-linked to the opening of the first permanent cinema in Subotica.

Through exhibitions, workshops, and screenings – discovering the language of Serbian film. Online availability of educational content. All events within the festival are free of charge.
